Toured with Big Country for 2 weeks in Great Britain - Concert in London with John Cale as support group. Played a six-week headline tour of east coast America - three singles released.“This was a strange one for me. I was excited that I had finally achieved the dream of a record contract, but the tension in the band was stifling sometimes. It was David’s band, and it had to be perfect. I think we got close to it.”
Quick memories:
“Landing at JFK and riding in a black limousine to New York. I had hundreds of images and voices in my head like, The Beatles have arrived!” (laugh…)
